An average Collections Specialist earns $16.00 to $20.68 in total with bonuses. In addition to competitive pay and a family‑friendly atmosphere, our office team benefits from formal training, tools, and a supportive work environment. The Day‑to‑Day Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑6:30 pm; Saturday 8:30 am‑3:30 pm; one weekday off each week and Sundays off. On a typical day, you maintain customer relationships, spending most of the time on the phone or computer. You review applications, identify opportunities to renew agreements, and handle calls to customers about expired agreements or accounts. You listen actively, resolve issues, and facilitate renewal and prompt payment. You also schedule voluntary turn‑ins of merchandise and, when needed, collect in the field or place door hangers. Patience and tact are essential when dealing with challenging customers. You manage multiple tasks, maintain pace, and keep focus on the customer, helping you meet weekly call and goal targets in a fast‑paced, people‑driven environment. Requirements Experience as a rental agent, account executive, account manager, account collection, or rent‑to‑own. Valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Professional communication skills in English. Bilingual is a plus. Strong computer and phone skills.
