Account Manager - Manufacturing

Location: Tampa, FL 33634

Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4pm

Pay: $65K annual salary based on experience ($31.25/HR)

Role Summary

The Account Manager maintains and grows client accounts, oversees onboarding, and serves as the main liaison between customers and internal teams. This role requires strong project management, supply-chain coordination, and excellent relationship-building skills in a fast-paced, cGMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow customer accounts from onboarding through project completion
Lead RFQs and oversee complex BOMs
Provide timely production updates and same-day responses to customer inquiries
Monitor order readiness, procurement, and delivery timelines
Lead customer meetings and ensure high satisfaction and retention
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Collaborate with Finance on account audits and A/R follow-up
Mitigate risks and ensure stable, successful account performance
Support supply-chain communication using project management best practices

Qualifications

3-5 years in Account Management or B2B Customer Service
Experience in cGMP manufacturing (Pharma, Nutraceuticals, Cosmetics, Food)
Strong project-management and supply-chain understanding
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
PMP preferred
