Account Manager

Responsibilities Generates revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in the retention of current WM customers. Manages existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies. Handles all customer cancellation requests and provides ongoing education of contract details to existing customers. Develops detailed proposals encompassing multiple services. Increases revenue and profitability by executing sound plans on retention calls to improve the customers’ service and/or profitability. Proposes customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations. Requirements Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Sales/Marketing, or in lieu of bachelor’s degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years in direct business-to-business sales 7 years progressive direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and phone based business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments (in addition to education requirement). Resource Conservation and recovery Act (RCRA) (20 hours). WM CRA Involved in one or more of the following: U.S. Green Build Council (USGBC), American Institute of Architects (AIA), Associated general Contractors of America (AGC), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), or National Association of Home Builders Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in consultative selling and customer retention strategies, with a strong focus on compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Proven ability to manage business relationships and develop proposals that drive revenue growth and profitability.
