Chef de Cuisine

Reyna New York is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead kitchen operations at our Union Square location. The restaurant operates daily dinner service, weekend brunch, weekly special events, and private catering, with additional programming at Le Louis, the lounge located below the main dining room.
REYNA Hospitality Group is an independent restaurant group founded in Toronto in 2016, with locations across Toronto and New York City.
Responsibilities
- Menu development and execution rooted in Mediterranean cuisine
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and day-to-day management of kitchen staff
- Food cost, labor, and budget management
- Food safety, sanitation, and kitchen maintenance oversight
- Collaboration with front-of-house and ownership on events and catering
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years as Sous Chef or above
- Minimum 5 years of NYC kitchen experience
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine; classical French training preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage costs, labor, and budgets
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
