What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient Hematology & Oncology care for adult patients, including consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
• Support inpatient and ER consultations related to Hem/Onc issues
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, IV iron, and other injections within clinic protocols
• Perform bone marrow biopsies as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, including NP and virtual hematologist support
• Participate in tumor board meetings and care coordination for cancer patients
• Provide urgent patient needs coverage as part of the role's scope

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certification (preferably Double Boarded in Hematology & Oncology)
• PA license (or willingness to license)
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in outpatient Hem/Onc setting preferred but less experienced providers considered

Preferred:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle a varied patient caseload with efficiency
• Proficiency in clinic-based oncology procedures and infusion therapies

About the Assignment
This role at a leading cancer care institute in Chambersburg provides outpatient Hematology and Oncology services. The clinic sees approximately 15 patients daily, including new consults and follow-up visits for common solid tumors and blood cancers. The provider will support inpatient consultations and procedures, with a focus on personalized, high-quality patient care in a well-established facility. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a mix of outpatient clinics and urgent consultations, facilitated by an experienced support team.
