What You'll Do

• Provide outpatient Hematology & Oncology consultations and follow-up care
• Support hospital inpatient and ER consultations related to Hem/Onc
• Administer IV therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, and injections
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in tumor board meetings
• Perform bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, or port access as needed (port work performed by RNs)
• Manage treatment plans for common cancers such as lung, breast, prostate, colorectal, and blood cancers
• Support coordinating radiation oncology as needed with specialists

What You Need

• Board-certified or eligible in Hematology & Oncology (double certification preferred)
• PA license or willingness to license; IMLC considered
• Minimum 0-2 years of clinical experience
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

About the Assignment
This assignment is based in a leading facility in Chambersburg, PA, with a focus on outpatient care and hospital consultation support. The provider will work alongside a support team including an NP and a virtual hematologist, contributing to both clinic and hospital-based patient management. No inpatient chemotherapy is administered; targeted therapies are coordinated through tertiary centers. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with support for urgent inpatient needs and participation in tumor boards to ensure comprehensive patient care.
