Dental AssistantWe are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry team. The ideal candidate must hold current DANB certification and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role supports the dentist in providing comprehensive dental treatment while ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesChairside assisting for general dentistry procedures including restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, endodontics, and preventive servicesPrepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to OSHA and CDC guidelinesTake and process dental radiographsEnsure patient comfort before, during, and after proceduresAssist with impressions, temporaries, and digital scanningMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationProvide post-operative instructions to patientsManage inventory and maintain organized clinical areasSupport smooth patient flow and efficient schedulingRequirementsQualificationsCurrent DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) Certification – RequiredCurrent Pennsylvania radiology certification – RequiredCurrent CPR/BLS certification – RequiredKnowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standardsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with digital radiography and electronic dental recordsFamiliarity with dental practice management softwareStrong attention to detail and ability to anticipate provider needsPositive attitude and commitment to excellent patient careBenefitsCompetitive hourly compensationHealth insurancePaid time off401(k)Continuing education opportunities
