Senior Estimating Manager - Pharma Construction

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare Project Management Plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
• Perform quantity take off and prepare complete estimates using Microsoft Excel, BIMS, Revit, Success etc.
• Input Work Plan and project assignments into appropriate software platform.
• Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members.
• Develop and communicate action plans that will lead the project team throughout the project, beginning with the initial Project Management Plan.
• Re-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary while maintaining communications with the client and providing monthly/weekly/daily reports.
• Organize the utilization of project control tools such as Company tools, Prolog, Expedition, and Primavera software.
• Coordinate with cost management group for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation and maintain monthly project budgets for current and forecasted expenditures.
• Achieve the client’s objectives by successfully managing the client’s project, goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and review team member timesheets and be responsible for ongoing client billing.
• Grow professional network.
• Maintain reporting, filing, record keeping, and back up of electronic files in keeping with established standards.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
• Communicate with and manage project stakeholders.
• Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.

• Re-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Coordinate with cost management group as applicable for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
• Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and physical documents.
• Drive the permitting process by designing team documents to be submitted to various local, state, and federal agencies and ensure the applicable permits are moving through the process efficiently.
• Ensure the project design management continues to follow the client project documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and client's design standards.
• Prepare cost and revenue projections.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Experience developing and communicating action plans to guide the team throughout the project.
• Experience monitoring the contract scope throughout the project making adjustments and recommendations as necessary.
• Experience utilizing project controls tools such as Prolog, Expedition and Primavera software.
• Utilize effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Expedition, Prologue, Microsoft Project.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field

Experience: Knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment, assigned discipline design and overall engineering standard

Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED

The salary range for this full-time role is $132,800.00-$185,933.36 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
