Job Description
RV Service Advisor (Mobile Service)
RV Service Now | Tampa Bay, Florida
Full-Time | In-Office (Port Richey)
Help RV Owners Get Back on the Road Without Ever Leaving Home
RV Service Now is hiring an experienced, organized, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our
team at our Port Richey office. We are Florida's largest mobile RV repair and inspection company, and we
come to the customer instead of asking the customer to come to us.
We are a Florida owned and operated business building statewide coverage from the Tampa Bay area
outward. We believe our employees and our customers should be treated like people, not numbers.
The Service Advisor is one of the most important positions in the company. You are the primary
connection between our customers and our mobile technicians, helping owners understand what is
happening with their RV while coordinating with dispatch, technicians, the parts desk, warranty
administration, and management to keep every job moving.
If you are a strong communicator, highly organized, comfortable with computers, able to handle
multiple priorities at once, and you enjoy being part of a team, we want to talk with you.
What You Will Do
As an RV Service Advisor, you will manage the customers service experience from the first phone call
through job completion and follow up.
Your responsibilities will include:
Answer inbound calls, texts, web leads, and emails, and professionally discuss the customers
RV service, repair, or inspection concerns.
Listen carefully and accurately document each customers concerns on the job.
Confirm the RV year, make, model, chassis, systems, and on site location so the assigned
technician arrives prepared.
Schedule mobile service appointments and help balance the daily route and workload across
technicians and service areas.
Maintain accurate customer, RV, and repair information in FieldPulse and our supporting
systems.
Review each job before dispatch and make sure customer concerns are clearly documented for
the technician.
Communicate with technicians, dispatch, the parts desk, warranty administration, and
management throughout the job.
Prepare and communicate written estimates to customers before work begins.
Obtain digital customer authorization and signed service agreements before approved work is
performed.
Provide customers with timely, professional updates on scheduling, arrival windows, and job
status.
Follow up on parts orders, backorders, and any other item that may delay completion, and
communicate changes in the estimated completion date as soon as they are known.
Document customer approvals, declined repairs, conversations, photos, and job status
accurately in the system.
Verify that completed work has gone through the appropriate quality control and photo
documentation before the job is closed.
Review completed repairs and charges with customers in a clear, professional manner and
process payment.
Help identify additional maintenance, safety, or repair needs the customer should be aware of.
Support the technician team in the field with information, parts lookups, warranty questions, and
customer communication so they can stay focused on the repair.
Follow up with customers after service to confirm satisfaction and invite reviews and referrals.
Help create the kind of service experience that earns repeat customers, referrals, and long term
care plan enrollments.
What We Are Looking For
The right person for this position does not simply answer phones and write repair orders. We are
looking for someone who takes ownership of the customer experience from the first call to the follow
up.
Excellent Communication Skills
You must be able to communicate professionally with customers, technicians, managers, and
coworkers. That includes being comfortable having conversations when a technician is running late,
additional work is discovered on site, parts are delayed, or a customer has a concern. We believe
customers should hear from us before they have to call us asking for an update.
Strong Computer and Mobile Software Skills
This position requires constant use of computers, phones, and mobile software throughout the day.
You should be comfortable learning and working with:
FieldPulse or a similar field service management platform
Digital repair orders, estimates, and invoices
Customer records and CRM notes
Email and business texting tools
Scheduling and dispatch software
Parts lookup and ordering systems
Warranty portals
Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Accurate documentation is a major part of this job. If it is not in the system, it did not happen.
Organization and Follow Through
You may have multiple customers, technicians, jobs, estimates, parts orders, and approvals in
progress at the same time, spread across a large service area. You need to prioritize work, keep
accurate notes, and follow every issue through to completion. Nothing should fall through the cracks.
Teamwork
Service Advisors do not work alone. You will work closely with our mobile technicians, dispatch, parts,
warranty administration, management, sales, and marketing. We are looking for someone who wants
the entire team to succeed, not someone who believes "that is not my job"
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of RV dealership service experience required.
Previous Service Advisor, Service Writer, or dispatcher experience required.
Additional automotive, powersports, marine, or equipment dealership service experience is a
plus.
Mobile or in home service experience (HVAC, plumbing, appliance, marine, pest, or similar) is
also a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer and data entry skills, and comfort learning new software quickly.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple customers and jobs at the same time.
Ability to communicate professionally in both positive and challenging situations.
Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn RV systems, terminology, and repair and inspection processes.
Dependable attendance and professional conduct.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must pass E Verify and I 9 employment eligibility verification.
What We Offer
Competitive base pay with performance incentives tied to customer satisfaction, job throughput,
and estimate approvals.
Paid time off and paid holidays.
Health, dental, and vision insurance.
Retirement plan participation.
Paid training on FieldPulse, RV systems, warranty processes, and customer service standards.
A modern office environment in Port Richey with the tools, phones, and software you need to do
the job well.
A stable, Florida owned company with a clear multiyear growth plan.
A team environment where the office, the field, and management all work together.
Real opportunity for advancement as we open additional service areas across Florida.
Why RV Service Now
RV Service Now is building the mobile RV repair and inspection company that Florida owners actually
want to call. That means honest estimates, on time arrivals, clean documentation, factory quality work,
and a service experience that respects the customers time.
We are growing quickly, and the Service Advisor role sits at the center of that growth. The person in
this seat has a direct impact on how customers experience the brand and how efficiently our
technicians can work. It is a career, not a seat.
The Person Who Will Succeed Here
You may be a great fit if you are the type of person who:
Likes talking with customers.
Returns phone calls, texts, and messages.
Does not let things fall through the cracks.
Enjoys solving problems.
Keeps good notes.
Is comfortable using technology and learning new software.
Stays professional when a customer is frustrated.
Communicates problems instead of hiding them.
Likes working with technicians and other departments.
Takes ownership of getting things completed.
Understands that excellent communication is just as important as the repair itself.
We require at least two years of RV dealership service experience so you already understand RV
systems, terminology, warranty processes, and how a service department runs. On top of that
foundation, we are looking for the communication skills, organization, computer ability, and ownership
mindset that make a great advisor.
