Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and success as a Special Education Case Manager/Teacher in a vibrant school environment near Longmont, CO. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students, collaborating closely with school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary case manager for students requiring special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and specialists to support student learning
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet students’ unique needs
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment focused on student strengths and development
- Stay up to date with best practices in special education and participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Teacher Certification required
- Demonstrated experience in special education settings, preferably as a case manager
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet a range of learning needs
- Commitment to student advocacy, equity, and educational excellence
