Inspire young minds as a dedicated ELA educator in a supportive, engaging middle school environment. This on-site, contract opportunity is available immediately and runs through May 20, 2027, with a full-time schedule serving grades 6–8. You’ll have the chance to design meaningful lesson plans, foster student literacy, and contribute to a positive classroom culture. Your expertise in general education and passion for language arts will provide students with the foundation they need for success.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Colorado teaching certificate required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field
- Prior experience teaching English Language Arts at the middle school level strongly preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners
- Enthusiasm for collaborative work with colleagues and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, standards-based ELA instruction to middle school students
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to student needs
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Assess student progress and provide actionable feedback
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as needed
- Communicate meaningfully with parents, guardians, and team members regarding student performance
