Thismid-levelroleinvolvesmanagingabroadspectrumofHRfunctionswithahighdegreeofindependenceandaccountability.Embeddeddirectlywithinamission-criticalfacility,you’llserveastheprimaryHRresourceforaskilled,field-basedtechnicalworkforce—supportingeverythingfromfull-cyclerecruitmentandemployeerelationstocomplianceandperformancemanagement. Thisisn’taseat-fillerrole.You’lloperatewithrealindependence,servingasatrustedpartnertositemanagersandemployeesinahigh-performance,24/7environmentwhereprecision,professionalism,andfollow-throughmattereveryday. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES 1.Recruitment&Onboarding Managefull-cyclerecruitmentfortechnicalandoperationalrolessupportingdatacenteroperations—includingjobpostings,resumescreening,interviewing,offernegotiations,backgroundchecks,referencechecks,andonboardingcoordination.Assistwithnewhireorientation,paperworkcompletion,andintroductiontosite-specificpoliciesandsafetyprocedures. 2.BenefitsAdministration Administeremployeebenefitsprogramsincludingopenenrollment,claimsprocessing,vendorcoordination,employeeeducationonbenefitsoptions,healthinsurance,retirementplans,voluntarybenefits,calculationofemployeecontributions,andprocessingenrollmentsandchanges. 3.EmployeeRelations Serveastheon-sitetrustedresourceforemployeesworkinginademanding,mission-criticalenvironment.Addressconcerns,grievances,andconflictsinafairandconfidentialmanner.Conductinvestigations,mediateconflicts,documentdisciplinaryactions,advisesitemanagersonperformanceissues,andfosteracultureofopencommunication,accountability,andcollaboration. 4.PerformanceManagement Supportperformancemanagementcyclesincludinggoalsetting,mid-yearreviews,annualevaluations,feedbackdiscussions,coaching,performanceimprovementplans,disciplinaryactions,andrecognitionprograms.Provideguidancetositemanagersandemployeesthroughouttheprocess. 5.Training&Development Coordinateanddelivertraininganddevelopmentprogramstailoredtotheneedsofatechnical,field-basedworkforce.Assesstrainingneeds,sourceproviders,organizesessionsorworkshops,trackparticipation,andevaluateprogrameffectiveness—includingsite-specificsafetyandcompliancetraining. 6.HRRecordsAdministration ManageHRadministrativetasksincludingmaintainingemployeerecords,updatingHRdatabases,processingemployeechanges(promotions,transfers,terminations),preparingHR-relatedreports,andensuringcompliancewithcompanypoliciesandprocedures. 7.Compliance&PolicyImplementation Ensuresite-levelcompliancewithfederal,state(Texas),andlocalemploymentlawsandregulations(FLSA,FMLA,ADA,EEOC).StaycurrentonTexas-specificlaborlaw,prepareforaudits,maintainrequireddocumentation,andassistwiththedevelopmentandcommunicationofHRpolicies—identifyingandclosinganycompliancegapsinaregulateddatacenterenvironment. 8.HRMetrics&Reporting AnalyzeHRmetricsandtrends(turnover,engagementscores,time-to-hire)specifictodatacenteroperationstoidentifyopportunitiesforimprovementandpreparereportsfortheVPofPeopleOperationsandsiteleadership. 9.Offboarding Assistwithoffboardingprocessesincludingexitinterviews,finalpaycalculations,andknowledgetransfer—ensuringcontinuityina24/7operationalenvironment.
