Your specific responsibilities: Uses multiple computer applications to set appointments for Dental and Medical services. Answer incoming calls and provide general information about Department of Health's services. Verify insurance. Transfer calls accordingly. Relay electronic messages to medical services staff.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to operate telephone software and handle a high volume of incoming calls. Ability to use multiple computer programs and software such as Microsoft office to retrieve and/or input data. Strong internal and external customer service skills Ability to independently solve problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to good listening skills Strong English-Spanish bilingual proficiency Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others. Knowledge of patient confidentiality laws Ability to work with a broad population. Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness

Qualifications: Minimum - At least 1 years of computer experience At least 1 years' experience working in a fast-paced customer service position Bilingual in Spanish and English Preferred - Experience working with different health insurances, including Medicaid At least 1 year experience working in a medical office setting At least one year of Call Center Experience
