Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a busy radiology unit. The ideal candidate will have neonatal and OB Gyn experience, working independently to deliver accurate imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform all OB Gyn and neonatal head ultrasound examinations with precision.
  
  
• 
  Operate GE logics and Voluson ultrasound equipment in accordance with clinical protocols.
  
  
• 
  Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document findings accurately within the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile technique and adhere to unit policies and safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnostic processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold RDMS certification in ABD and OB.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate pediatric neonatal and obstetric ultrasound expertise.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 1 year of recent ultrasound experience, preferably in a high-acuity setting.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong independence and professional communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
