Head of Sales

Morpheus is partnered with a leading AI safety company to find an exceptional sales leader for this role. Our client is a Series A startup backed by top-tier investors, building automated tools and expert datasets rooted in psychology and powered by clinicians to keep humans safe in the AI era. This is a zero-to-one sales leadership role. You will be the first sales hire, both architect and operator: building the function from scratch, selling directly into enterprise AI teams, and standing up the pipeline, people, and processes required for scale. What you'll own The full transition from founder-led sales to a scalable, predictable revenue engine GTM strategy, segmentation, ICP, pricing, and territory definition Direct ownership of Enterprise and Commercial accounts across AI safety, evaluation, red teaming, and human-data workflows Hiring and leading the first SDR/BDR and developing early AEs CRM strategy, sales tooling, playbooks, forecasting, and pipeline reporting What the day to day looks like Personally prospecting, developing, and closing high-value enterprise opportunities Leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving data, safety, procurement, security, and technical decision-makers Expanding existing accounts into new use cases and product lines Partnering with founders on the handoff from founder-led to sales-led motion Providing market intelligence back to product and leadership to shape roadmap and positioning What we're looking for 7+ years in enterprise and commercial sales at a Series A to C AI, ML, or data-focused company Proven experience as a first or early sales hire with a zero-to-one GTM track record Demonstrated success selling to enterprise ML, data science, safety, or evaluation teams Experience hiring, onboarding, and managing SDR/BDR teams Familiarity with RLHF, red teaming, annotation workflows, or human-in-the-loop data pipelines US-based and authorized to work in the United States full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
