Job Details Position: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Nashville, TN 37207 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630 Shift: 12-hour day shifts Shifts Per Week: 3 Shift Duration: 12 hours Hours Per Week: 36 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule Start Date: 09/28/2026 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced acute care setting Experience starting IVs, performing basic wound care, and managing surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to bedside nursing Responsibilities Deliver high-quality bedside care to medical-surgical patients Monitor patient conditions and respond to changing clinical needs Support safe management of IV therapy, telemetry, and related bedside equipment Assist with wound care, drain management, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes as needed Provide compassionate, attentive care and communicate effectively with patients and families Participate in bedside shift report and collaborate with the care team to support positive patient outcomes Float as needed according to unit rotation and staffing needs Apply now to join this Travel Med/Surg RN job in Nashville, TN and take the next step in your healthcare career.
