Job Details Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Location: Nashville, Tennessee Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630 Start Date: 9/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days Shifts Per Week: 3 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Unit Setting: Trauma Med/Surg Documentation System: Meditech Job Requirements Active RN license Current BLS certification At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a busy acute care environment Experience starting IVs, providing basic wound care, and managing surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to nursing care Experience in travel nursing or trauma Med/Surg preferred Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate bedside nursing care to Med/Surg patients Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Support patient and family education while promoting involvement in the plan of care Perform routine nursing tasks including IV starts, wound care, and drain/tube management Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maintain efficient patient flow and quality outcomes Complete thorough clinical documentation and bedside shift reporting in Meditech Float as needed according to unit rotation and staffing needs Why Join This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
