Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Welders & Fitters to join a premier fabrication team supporting the natural gas industry in Tulsa, OK . This role involves advanced structural welding, fitting, blueprint interpretation, and fabrication of large industrial units built to strict code requirements.

Required Experience & Skills
• Proven welding and structural fitting experience REQUIRED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld procedures
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding codes and structural fabrication standards
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Experience working with large structural assemblies preferred
• Ability to pass all required weld and fitter qualification tests
• Strong attention to detail, workmanship, and safety awareness
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required

Required Tests
• Flux Core vision test on beam and pipe
• Uphill, overhead, and flat welding on beam
• Flat welding on pipe
• 3G double bevel on 1"plate, butted up
- Test will be shot per code
- Must carbon arc back, then fill and cap in the same 3G position
• Structural Fitters must complete an open-book written test

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform structural welding and fitting on large industrial assemblies
• Work with I-beam sizes ranging from 6x25 to 12x50
• Fit and weld completed units ranging from 8' x 20' to 16' x 50'
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Perform welding according to AWS D1.1 code requirements
• Safely operate cranes, forklifts, and material-handling equipment
• Maintain quality standards throughout fabrication and assembly processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Support production goals and fabrication timelines
