Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder to join a growing fabrication team in Sapulpa. This position is responsible for welding structural steel components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, interpreting weld symbols, and producing high-quality welds that meet AWS and customer specifications.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous structural welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Knowledge of structural welding processes, equipment, and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform structural welding on steel components and fabricated assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Produce welds that meet AWS and company quality standards
• Inspect completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications
• Use measuring tools and fabrication equipment as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
• Perform additional fabrication and production duties as assigned

Weld Test Requirement
• Candidates must successfully complete a Spray Arc plate weld test in accordance with AWS standards.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in structural steel fabrication
• Familiarity with AWS welding codes and standards
• Experience using fabrication tools and precision measuring equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent use of welding equipment, hand tools, and material handling equipment
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and fabrication environment

Work Environment
• Industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility
• Exposure to welding equipment, heat, sparks, fumes, and moving machinery
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality
• Required PPE must be worn at all times, including welding hood, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and other protective equipment as required
