Executive Assistant – Partner Resources Organization (HR) This office‑based role requires attendance 4 days per week and provides executive‑level administrative support to the SVP, partner resources, and VP, labor & partner relations. The assistant will be a trusted partner, enabling one of Starbucks’ most complex and impactful organizations. Responsibilities Represent the leader and their leadership team with discretion, interpersonal savvy, and efficiency. Manage confidential and sensitive information, including executive email, communications, materials, and conversations, ensuring appropriate disclosure. Make sound decisions aligned with business priorities and Starbucks values when information or the executive is unavailable. Support complex calendaring, domestic and international travel, invoices, expenses, and other administrative functions. Act with integrity and accountability, maintaining a solutions‑oriented, forward‑thinking mindset. Collaborate closely with the senior executive assistant for partner resources to ensure smooth team operation and rhythm. Anticipate executive needs by understanding business rhythms, prioritizing deliverables, and cascading critical information. Organize and schedule leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, offsites, and team forums (in‑person and virtual), including coordination of meeting spaces and audiovisual needs. Manage executive travel in compliance with policies, ensuring productivity, safety, and continuity. Engage with the executive’s direct reports to maintain alignment of priorities and effective communication. Interact with senior leaders, external partners, suppliers, and enterprise networks. Serve as a leader and mentor within the administrative community, supporting capability building and culture. Qualifications 7–9 years of progressive administrative experience supporting senior or executive‑level leaders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook. Broad understanding of business functions and company priorities, with the ability to think and operate at an enterprise level. Strong judgment, integrity, operational instincts, and resilience in fast‑paced environments. Ability to navigate ambiguity and support leaders operating at a global scale.
