Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately and safely.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and escalate concerns as needed.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities thoroughly in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active, pending, or valid VA State Nursing License.
  
  
• 
  Require previous clinical experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Be able to float within scope of practice, adhering to facility policies.
  
  
• 
  Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
