Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2580 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient diagnoses include respiratory illnesses, renal illnesses, diabetes, sepsis, cellulitis, infections, heart failure, sickle cell, and cystic fibrosis. Nurse-driven heparin infusions. Insulin drips via Glucomander. Nurse-driven flu vaccination. CAPD.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday. Maximum 40 hours of time off per 13-week contract.

Floating Requirements: Travelers float before full time staff.

Special Requests: Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.
