Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized therapy plans and conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess client needs and progress.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, addressing the unique needs of each patient, including individual, family, and group therapy settings.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to facilitate client healing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and compliance.
• Engage in continuous learning through workshops and professional development opportunities, staying current with the latest research and techniques in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a key provider of mental health services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will be critical in helping clients from underserved communities access the resources and therapy they need for meaningful recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Proven understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practice.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and virtual communication tools.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling.
• Experience providing telehealth services and adapting therapeutic practices to a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems to enhance client care.

Compensation and Benefits
