Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and allied healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies involving youth.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous documentation to adhere to legal and ethical guidelines while tracking patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on providing mental health services to children and adolescents facing various challenges. You will be responsible for working with patients struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders, tailoring your therapeutic approaches based on each individual's developmental stage and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic methodologies, and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to therapy.

• Proven ability to establish rapport and build trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
