Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $95,000 to 110,000 per year.

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Monitor budget variances and provide analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Provide financial expertise and support for various initiatives.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Business
• 5+ years experience in accounting for manufacturing company.
• Advanced with MS Office Suite (Excel) and proficiency in accounting software.
• Experience in public accounting or a corporate accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge full cycle Accounts Payable.
• Solid inventory and cost understanding in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and competence of full General Ledger and controls.
• Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
