RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

Department: Respiratory Therapist *Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - # treatments per day: Divided up in AM, one for ER and split the floors, OR and ACU. 2 RTs during the day. 1 RT at night. - Types of patients: Mostly adult, peds in ER- more rare admission, OB deliveries, critical babies. - What areas do they cover: ER, inpatient, if they have covered other areas like outpatient testing, off site - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with responding to RRT and codes - code blues, c-sections, conscious sedations. Must be comfortable being only RT in house. Strongly prefer previous travel experience. Ok with Duos. - Job Duties: Set up and manage vents, bipap, cpap, high flow, ABG, nebs, conscious sedation, end tidal CO2. - Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist?: Intubate with physician in the room (prefer the experience if able). - Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist?: Jesse Wery Supervisor, Heather Marsicek Manager - Shifts & Scheduling: Manager to make the schedule, want staff to fill in gaps in scheduling, will group shifts if works with (working set shifts days or nights) 7 start. - Weekend Requirements: Every or every other weekend, depending on posting (Friday, sat, Sunday, if 48hs Thus-Sunday). - Holiday Requirements: If it falls on a scheduled day, work that holiday typically. - Call or standby call requirement?: No. - What is call response time: N/A. - Floating Requirements: Within the hospital. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrub dispenser, provided on site, can wear own scrubs. Ok to wear street clothes into work. It is a combined locker room with separate bathrooms for changing. - RT Equipment: Brands Drager vents, Phillips Bipap/ Cpap v60s, arivo- high flow, Hamilton in the future. - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist during the day, telemed at night, ER doctor is in house 24/7, responds to codes. - Department Specific Orientation: 2 days to learn equipment and department. *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.* All clinicians must clock in and out at facility Date Entered On: 11/9/2025
