Technical Data Steward

Position: Data Steward Tech Overview As a Data Steward Tech, you will be responsible for performing data transformations (ETL) and related activities in Databricks. You will create and maintain Databricks applications, participate in Genie Space coding, gather requirements, and support operations through monitoring. Data quality maintenance and reporting are also key aspects of the role. Responsibilities Perform data transformations (ETL) and other data-related activities in Databricks. Create, maintain, and enhance Databricks applications. Gather requirements and develop Databricks applications. Maintain and enhance code developed by others, ensuring high quality and reliability. Monitor operations and support applications through ongoing maintenance. Conduct data quality analysis and report findings to stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of IT experience. Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on Databricks experience. Background in Data Governance or quality management is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Sciences, or related disciplines (Master’s degree is an asset).
