Supplier Quality Engineer II
Medtronic
Medtronic seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer II in Memphis to manage supplier relationships and quality compliance for spinal and biologics products. The role involves supplier qualification, audit execution, change management, and resolution of quality issues across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure consistent delivery of quality parts and materials
- Conduct supplier qualification activities and lead change management documentation
- Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues affecting manufacturing and supply
- Develop and execute supplier audit plans to assess GMP and quality system compliance
- Partner with cross-functional teams on acceptance sampling strategies and quality requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years relevant experience, or Master's degree
- Medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry experience preferred
- Supplier audit and qualification activity experience
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, QSR, or applicable regulatory requirements
- Receiving inspection, acceptance sampling, and test method validation experience
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required for this level
