Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position located in Gastonia, North Carolina. This role involves supporting the imaging department with a variety of ultrasound procedures, requiring proficiency in general abdominal, R/O DVT, and R/O Ectopic imaging. The candidate must demonstrate competency in the use of Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units, with required registries in ultrasound (RDMS or RVT). Typical shifts are scheduled during nighttime hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of ultrasound experience, proficiency in general abdominal, R/O DVT, R/O Ectopic, competency in Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units, RDMS or RVT certification, location in North Carolina, and at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional limited vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, and prostate competencies; experience supporting invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages
• Additional Information: The imaging department has 3 hospital procedure rooms, 1 Emergency Department, and 4 rooms in the imaging area. Support is provided for 17 radiologists, offering a variety of imaging services. Candidates should be prepared for shifts that may vary based on location and must wear scrubs or lab coats in black, teal, or white for lab coat attire.
