Medical AssistantImmediate contract position available for our OBGYN physician practice group in Deer Park, NY.Note: Experience in OBGYN preferredPay Rate: $23.00/hr Work Schedule:8:30am - 4:30pm (Monday)9:00am - 5:00pm (Tuesday)12:00pm - 8:00pm (Thursday)8:00am - 4:00pm (Friday)32 hours per weekResponsibilities:Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical recordMedical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, phlebotomy and preparation of exam roomsAssist with front desk responsibilities, as neededQualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant ProgramExperience in OBGYN preferredBLS CertificationBe able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentEPIC system experience a plus
