Senior Tax Manager

Our client is looking to fill the role of Senior Tax Manager. The Senior Tax Manager will lead and manage a high performing team, and have ownership over tax strategy, tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax provision, and will lead special projects and automations across the business. $140-160k plus bonusResponsibilities: Contribute overall tax strategy, notably by providing recommendations as to how to optimize US tax position in all areas. Ensure that US tax risks and opportunities are identified and analyzed in a timely manner; craft and recommend solutions to address those. Lead the US tax planning and transfer pricing function, including driving US federal and state optimization, transfer pricing matters, risk management and managing federal and state tax audits. Be the US tax technical point of reference for the US and the International tax teams, as well as other key stakeholders such as US Business, Finance and Legal colleagues. Develop and lead tax strategy, assessing the tax impact of strategic initiatives, to drive tax decision-making. Manage tax provision and related disclosures. Performing technical review of income tax provisions. Take charge of all international tax compliance processes to ensure the company complies with U.S. international tax regulations. Manage indirect tax compliance and reporting requirements. Researching Federal and State tax legislation to understand the impact on compliance and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, review and ensure timely filing of federal, international, and state and local tax returns. Lead automation and digital transformation of the tax function by implementing process improvements and best practices. Mentor and guide other team members in elevating their technical tax knowledge as well as fostering an open, cooperative, diverse, and inclusive culture. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of tax experience 2+ years management experience 3+ years of international tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation CPA license preferred. Masters in Tax preferred. Effectively communicate tax strategy and vision to executive leadership. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
