Summary:The Senior Tax Manager will play a critical role in overseeing corporate tax compliance and tax provision accounting while navigating an evolving regulatory landscape. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor, drive process improvements, and support global tax operations in a fast-paced, complex environment. Responsibilities include:Lead the preparation and review of ASC 740 tax provision calculations and related disclosuresMonitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and support strategic tax planningOversee global tax compliance activities and drive continuous process improvement initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and external auditorsLeverage tax technology tools (e.g., OneSource or equivalent software) to enhance efficiency and accuracy Targeted profile:CPA designation required8–10 years of progressive tax experience, including both tax compliance and tax provision (ASC 740)Extensive experience with OneSource or similar tax provision softwarePrior Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferredExperience supporting large, publicly traded, global organizationsDemonstrated career progression, leadership capability, and professional stability Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
