Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Renton, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.73 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements. Maintain required armed post readiness, complete accurate activity and incident reports, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Have at least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
