Associate Attorney - Insurance Coverage - Miami (Senior Level) Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 per year Location: Miami, FL Posted: July 16 2026 Relocation Assistance: Not Available This role is for a Litigation Associate Attorney in our Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Miami, FL. Responsibilities include handling complex coverage litigation and market conduct matters for domestic and international insurers. The work covers commercial general liability, property, and E&O claims involving attorneys, agents, and accountants, and directors & officers coverage. Candidate Profile JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record Law Review and/or Honors required Active Bar Admission in Florida , in good standing 5–7 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage matters Experience analyzing complex insurance policies Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations Demonstrated experience drafting litigation-related documents Experience participating in litigation proceedings , including depositions and mediations Familiarity with some or all of the following: bad faith claims , commercial general liability , commercial property , E&O , directors & officers Exceptional legal research and writing skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Key Responsibilities Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses Review and analyze document collections for litigation preparation Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision Why Join Us?
