Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms and surgical instruments, ensuring sterilization and safety protocols are met. Provide support to surgical teams to facilitate smooth and efficient operative processes.

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies before procedures.
Assist surgical team members during procedures by handling instruments and supplies.
Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
Monitor and document patient conditions and procedural details as required.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout surgical interventions.
Clean, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and supplies after procedures.

Qualifications:

Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in a laparoscopic and operative setting.
Hold a valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
Maintain current BLS certification.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
Exhibit strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
