Overview:
System One is looking for a Technology Business Engagement Manager for a client of ours in the Ewing, New Jersey area.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business partners across multiple geographies within Sales, Marketing, and SPD domains to build and maintain strategic relationships.
• Drive alignment between IT and business leaders to ensure IT solutions support business goals and maximize value.
• Manage the full value chain of IT activities and service level commitments for designated business areas.
• Contribute to the development of Business/IT Capability Roadmaps, Business Architecture Diagrams, and Technology Mapping.
• Lead and facilitate quarterly Business Reviews with executive leadership.
• Develop and maintain IT Project Roadmaps, business cases, and vendor RFPs in collaboration with business, IT, and procurement teams.
• Oversee project proposals, scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships, including NDAs, SOWs, licensing, and other contractual documents.
• Work with IT Finance to prepare ROI schedules and investment summaries for project justification.
• Support Project Change Impact Assessments, Business Transition Strategies, and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Provide guidance on project deliverables, including status reports, steering decks, and SDLC documentation.
• Coordinate setup and maintenance of Project Portfolio Management tools and financial systems like Planview and Apptio.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of IT or industry experience managing technologies, projects, and teams.
• Experience engaging with senior leaders, business partners, and vendors in a collaborative environment.
• Proven track record in developing Capability Roadmaps, IT project management, Business Case development, and Vendor Management.
• Strong strategic planning, portfolio management, and business analysis skills.
• Business area knowledge in Marketing & Sales, with relevant technology expertise.
• Ability to communicate confidently and articulately across various organizational levels.
• Experience working within a matrixed organization and leading cross-functional teams.
