RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Winston-Salem, NC

Assignment Overview

This role involves providing care in a MedSurg/Tele unit, focusing on patients with general medical conditions, some cardiac issues, pneumonia, UTIs, chest pain, and fluid overload. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience and be comfortable with telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1890 (negotiable)
• Charting System: Epic
• Floating to: Rehab, 4 Ardmore, 10 Reynolds, 9 Reynolds, 5 Ardmore, Burn-10 North, Throughput Unit

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with diverse medical conditions
• Interpret and monitor telemetry strips
• Perform and manage PCA, surgical drains, and wound care
• Administer medications and manage IVs using Alaris pumps

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with PCA, surgical drains, wound care, telemetry, and cardiac rhythm interpretation

Preferred:

• Travel experience preferred
