Business Unit Manager - Eurofins Built Environment Testing, Pacific Northwest

Eurofins Built Environment Testing seeks a Business Unit Manager for its Pacific Northwest region (Seattle, WA or Portland, OR). The role involves full P&L accountability, laboratory oversight, commercial growth leadership, and team management to drive profitability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead full P&L ownership including revenue, profitability, expenses, budgeting, and financial objectives
• Develop and execute commercial growth strategy including sales, new business development, and market expansion
• Supervise laboratory personnel and drive operational excellence in quality, productivity, and cost control
• Build and develop high-performing leadership team with clear accountability and performance management
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics; ensure regulatory and quality compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
• 10+ years progressive business leadership with full P&L management responsibility
• Demonstrated success driving commercial growth, revenue, and new business development
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting, pricing, and cost management
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams across multiple functions
• Laboratory testing, environmental services, or scientific services industry experience preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
