ProActive Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Gainesville, Florida. Work Environment

This position requires working onsite in a home care setting, where you will provide therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. The collaborative atmosphere encourages interaction with other healthcare professionals, enabling the delivery of holistic patient care that prioritizes well-being. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility to meet the changing needs of our patients and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality of patients.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities designed to promote physical well-being and alleviation of pain.
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, as well as create effective home exercise programs to facilitate recovery.
• Administer various modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under supervision for effective pain management.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, noting improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
• Prepare therapy areas and ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are organized, clean, and operational before therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to align treatment strategies for optimized patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a positive atmosphere that motivates patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys.
• Maintain the highest ethical standards ensuring patient confidentiality while respecting their rights and dignity.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
