Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs, with a particular focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Developing customized treatment plans based on physician recommendations while adhering to clinical best practices and individualized patient goals.
• Implementing treatment interventions that may include therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual techniques, and functional training.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, safety procedures, and home exercise programs to support recovery.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective patient management.
• Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with agency policies and relevant regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions, including post-operative care, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. We emphasize evidence-based practices that promote healing, restore function, and prevent future injuries.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Florida.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Certification in First Aid, AED, and CPR is mandatory.
• Proven background in treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Strong computer and documentation skills for maintaining patient records and treatment plan updates.

Preferred Experience

Experience with electronic medical record systems (EMR) and familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols will be highly regarded. Any additional certifications or training in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatrics, or manual therapy will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
