Work Environment

This role is set in a professional clinical environment, where you will engage with patients in-person at our outpatient facility. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring ample time to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, developing individualised treatment plans based on those assessments.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and dedicated care to maximize treatment effectiveness.
• Implement various orthopedic rehabilitation interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises and lifestyle modifications to promote continued health and recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Facilitate teamwork by collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care solutions for our patients.
• Utilize EMR software such as WebPT to efficiently track patient information, treatment plans, and billing processes, ensuring seamless communication within the clinic.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, inspiring them to adhere to prescribed programs and maintain a proactive approach to their recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of disciplinary action.
• A Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Strong understanding of rehabilitation methodologies and a commitment to delivering evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a solid track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to aid in documentation and patient management.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary range between $90,000 and $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
