Our clinic boasts a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility, equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology to deliver high-quality care. As a physical therapy-owned facility, we pride ourselves on a patient-centered approach, predominantly treating individuals with private insurance, ensuring they receive the best possible therapeutic outcomes.

Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is an inviting and collaborative environment where you will be part of a small team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). With an onsite work structure, you will have direct access to patients and resources that facilitate effective therapy delivery. The work schedule is designed to foster work-life balance, with hours set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a fulfilling personal life while dedicating your professional time to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and customize treatment plans accordingly, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention based on their functional needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused care and better patient outcomes, while continuously evaluating their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective treatments aimed at improving patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical health.
• Explore non-invasive solutions by reducing reliance on medication and surgical interventions, focusing on therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that integrate multiple treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, as appropriate.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that not only address rehabilitation needs but also promote overall health and prevent recurrence of injuries.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a positive attitude toward rehabilitation and self-empowerment.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, sharing insights and updates on treatment progress as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and effective communication of patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly and provide clear communication with patients regarding their progress and next steps in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-operative patients, athletes, and active individuals of varying age groups seeking improvement in mobility and functional independence. Our focus on tailor-made treatment plans ensures that you will address a diverse range of needs and conditions, from sports injuries to chronic pain management.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with a clean professional record and no disciplinary actions.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing exercise protocols suitable for various orthopedic conditions.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient care flow.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to manage diverse patient cases effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for continuing education.
