Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Active state licensure/certification for school social worker or eligibility to obtain
• Relevant school-based social work experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral management, and student advocacy
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and students
• Familiarity with development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students individually and in group settings
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and coordinate appropriate services
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to design and monitor intervention plans
• Support students through transitions and crises, ensuring continuity of care
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP and 504 plan development
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports as required by school policy
• Offer preventive education and promote wellness within the school community
