The role requires providing care to surgical and medical oncology patients, supporting the treatment plans, and ensuring quality patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position: Oncology RN in Medical Surgical Oncology Floor
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS certification, minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience, 1 year on Medical Surgical Oncology units preferred, Oncology experience required, Associate Degree or Certification, located outside a 50-mile radius of the specified facility, charting experience in Epic preferred or previous electronic charting experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units, including in 4-hour blocks, prior to staff RNs
• Additional Information:
  • Hospital environment with patient ratios ranging from 4:1 to 7:1 during night shifts, with support staff on duty
  • Patient population mainly consists of surgical and medical oncology patients, including chemotherapy treatments
  • Scrub color: any
  • GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation; set hours guaranteed during non-holiday periods, with holiday closings and holiday staffing adjustments
  • During flu season, staff who decline vaccination are required to wear masks at all times, in accordance with facility policies
