- Lead integrated strategies across development, marketing, grants, and community engagement.
- Oversee fundraising strategy, including grassroots fundraising, donor communications, and community-based giving.
- Lead the organization's grant strategy, including prospecting, proposal development, compliance, reporting, and funder relationships.
- Develop and oversee marketing and communications strategy, brand positioning, digital presence, and organizational storytelling.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, funders, businesses, and other strategic partners.
- Oversee community programming, facility use, and other initiatives that expand engagement and support earned revenue.
- Partner closely with development leadership to align fundraising, donor engagement, communications, and revenue strategies.
- Establish departmental goals, budgets, KPIs, and performance measures.
- Lead, develop, and manage staff, consultants, and external partners.
- Serve as a senior representative of the organization within the community.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, marketing, communications, grants, or community engagement.
- Demonstrated success leading fundraising and/or grant strategies with measurable results.
- Experience building relationships with donors, funders, community partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Experience working with diverse populations and community-based organizations preferred.
- Must be certified or able to become certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Valid California driver's license required.
