Job Description Experience: Entry Level Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a Permanent Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial activities, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of our financial information. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring comprehensive compliance with regulatory and reporting standards. Supervise the preparation and detail review of balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis. Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP. Lead the ERP implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal utilization of the system. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights for decision making. Coordinate with external auditors providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership. Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Proven experience in financial reporting, general accounting, and ERP implementation. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel, and experience with accounting software. Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. CPA or CMA certification is a plus. Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
