Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire a Senior Accountant in La Vista, Nebraska! Senior Accountant $100,000-$105,000 base salary (depending on experience) La Vista, NE (4 days on-site, 1 remote) Perks and Opportunities: Rapidly growing company, with high growth opportunity Work-life balance, and team-oriented culture Responsibilities include: Lead the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial results, and ensuring accurate reporting. Review balance sheet and income statement activity, investigate variances, and communicate key financial insights to support decision-making. Coordinate external audit activities by providing timely documentation, collaborating with auditors, and maintaining a strong internal control environment. Partner with business leaders on financial reporting, operational initiatives, system implementations, and strategic projects, including acquisitions and process enhancements. Drive accounting process improvements through automation and control enhancements while mentoring junior team members and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
