What You’ll Do

• Draft pleadings, discovery, and litigation documents
• Support attorneys through hearings, depositions, and trial prep
• Manage case files and deadline with precision
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

• Litigation Experience - 2-5 years working in civil litigation, preferably in 1st-party insurance, bad-faith claims, or related practice areas.
• Drafting Proficiency - Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, discovery request/responses, correspondence, and case-management documents with a minimal supervision.
• Case Management Skills - Experience managing litigation calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Discovery Knowledge - Familiarity with e-discovery, document review, production processes, and organizing evidence for attorney review.
• Client Communication - Ability to communicate professionally with clients, experts, adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Legal Research Ability - Competence using legal research tools (Practice Panther, Westlaw, etc.) to support attorney strategy.
• Tech Competence - Proficiency with case-management software, Microsoft Office, and litigation support platforms.
• Organizational Strength - Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Team Collaboration - Ability to work closely with attorneys and staff in a high-energy, results-oriented team.
• Professionalism & Initiative - Ability to work closely with attorneys and staff in a high-energy, results-oriented team.
