Locum Tenens Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Consult Service

We are seeking anexperienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage for ourNeurology Consult Service in Boston, MA. This opportunity offers a consistentMonday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, making it an excellentchoice for providers seeking flexible coverage while maintaining work-lifebalance. Schedule & Compensation Full-time, Monday-Fridayschedule No nights or weekends Compensation: $120 per hour Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient neurologyconsultations and comprehensive neurological assessments. Diagnose and manage a broadrange of neurological conditions. Develop treatment plans incollaboration with neurologists and the multidisciplinary care team. Order and interpretlaboratory studies and imaging. Monitor patient progress andadjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients andfamilies regarding diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care. Coordinate care withphysicians and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timelyEMR documentation. Participate in qualityimprovement and team-based care initiatives. Qualifications Master's degree from anaccredited NP or PA program. Current Massachusetts NP or PA license, as applicable. Current national certification appropriate to the provider's discipline. 1-2 years of neurology or related clinical experience preferred.
