Senior Tax Advisor

Randstad is seeking a Tax Advisor to manage complex client relationships and deliver proactive, year-round tax strategy. Moving beyond standard return preparation, this expert will analyze comprehensive financial profiles to identify tax-saving opportunities, refine entity structures, monitor basis tracking, and seamlessly blend tax planning into broader wealth management objectives. Compensation: $90,000 - $125,000+, plus a Bonus and Paid Benefits

Responsibilities

• Previews and complete complex federal and state returns across multiple entity types.
• Delivers year-round tax planning, structural consulting, and entity selection guidance.
• Research evolving tax legislation, identifies tax-saving strategies, and manages responses to IRS and state tax authority inquiries.
• Monitors filing schedules, extension filings, estimated payment requirements, and multi-state compliance obligations.
• Examines general ledgers, trial balances, reconciliations, depreciation schedules, shareholder/partner basis, officer loans, and equity accounts for accuracy.
• Reviews of financial statements for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
• Evaluates client operational results, cash flows, and performance trends to provide practical management guidance.
• Serves as the primary client contact for an assigned client base, fostering long-term trust and year-round communication.
• Translates complex accounting concepts and tax regulations into clear, actionable advice for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA or EA license in good standing
• Proven track record offering proactive tax-planning and business advisory solutions beyond seasonal tax preparation.
• Superior tax-research capabilities, analytical reasoning, high emotional intelligence, and strong written/verbal communication.
